Bednarcik Jr. High "Character Counts"

Thanks to the following volunteers who participated in the "Character Counts" presentation at Bednarcik Jr. HIgh School in Oswego. We met with two class periods of close to 400 6th and 7th graders. We had enough people and dogs to split up into smaller groups, giving the students ample opportunity to pet the dogs and ask lots of great questions. The students then tie-dyed 500 kerchiefs, which will be used for the 2005 reunion. Thanks to teacher Lynette Brent (former greyhound owner), her fellow teachers, and the students of Bednarcik Jr. High for a really greyt experience. Martha and Esther Swanson with Lil Red and Zaber, Rich Ingersoll with Czar, Wayne and Pat Norr with Reid and Konan, Adrienne and Bruce DeKing with Duncan, Whitney Swim with Paul and Ray, and Karen and Tony Kriz with Albert.
